Mari Funaki (1950-2010) was a Japanese-Australian jeweller and sculptor who conceived of and opened our gallery in 1995. She was a foundational artist in the field in this country and her work remains sought after and respected internationally, and is held in major public and private collections throughout Australia, Europe and the US.
This catalogue was published following Mari's important 2006 exhibition 'The Space Between' and features an essay by Otto Künzli.
